One Fell Swoop

Here is a collection of new vocal songs that I've put together with lyricist Randy Phillips featuring five different vocalists and a fantastic band of musos. These are all vocal songs and they sonic travel through the world of jazz, folk, pop, samba, the blues, and Metheny-esque ballads. I'm not sure that all jazz musicians enjoy collaborating with singers but I sure do. I love the way a well sung melody brings the song and story to full bloom. The balance of that with some improvised instrumental solos is pure magic to my ears.
